With 90 persons registered, we’ve just about filled the elegant dining room (see photo) for the luncheon on Saturday, February 1, in Los Angeles, the finale event of the Celebration of the Lives of Genevieve and Waite Phillips. Don’t despair—we have more space into which to expand and can accommodate up to 140 persons. We have a place for you.

Leading up to the luncheon is a cash bar mixer Friday night, January 31, at the W-Hotel Los Angeles Wet Deck, and then on Saturday, February 1, we will celebrate the lives of the Phillips’s at Westwood Cemetery, in the chapel where their funerals were held, and where their mausoleum is located. Following the Celebration Observance we will make a short walk to the opened mausoleum and we will stand before the people who changed our lives and the lives of nearly one million campers.

post_SkylightGardensWe will also have time for self-guided tours of Westwood Cemetery—the “Cemetery to the Stars”—and those finding the graves of Frank Zappa and Roy Orbison will receive special recognition.

All Celebration events are within easy walking distance of each other and within easy walking distance of the hotels at which we have obtained preferred rates. If you fly to Los Angeles you can take a short taxi ride from LAX and not need a car, or if you drive, you can park your car upon arrival and forget it.

Full details and to register.
