Right now all 116 Celebration Trek slots – July 13 to 20 – are filled, but experience teaches that there will be a few cancellations between now and July 13. If you are flexible and can scramble up to the last minute, one of these cancelled slots could be yours.

To get on the wait list for a late cancellation: read the full details or get on the wait list.

Your priority on the wait list will be determined by the order in which people register. We will slot you into the crew from which the cancellation arises. We cannot give you a choice of crew and/or itinerary, but all our crews are excellent and all our itineraries are superb. You will have a great time. If you really do not like the crew or itinerary, or simply do not clear the wait list, you get your money back. This is a no risk deal.

Once you register, we will send you your medical form and Guidebook to Adventure. Get your med form filled out and signed, get your gear in order, and check your e-mail regularly for news that you have cleared the wait list and will be on the trail Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Philmont.

Our standard terms and conditions apply:

  • Eligibility requirements: (1) Be a member of the PSA or Trek-eligible family member (2) Be a member of the BSA (3) Have a completed Philmont medical form (4) Be 14 years old OR completed 8th grade and be at least 13 years of age prior to participation.
  • Trek-eligible family members: Spouse, child or step child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, niece, nephew or in-law of PSA member who meets eligibility requirements above. The PSA member must accompany Trek-eligible family members on the Trek.
  • Cancellation policy: (1) Cancellation prior to the registration deadline of June 1, 2013 will receive a full refund. (2) Cancellation after the registration deadline will not receive a refund. Monies paid can be used for another PSA or Exchange Program event prior to the end of 2013 or can be contributed to the General Fund. (3) In exceptional cases, the Executive Director AND Vice President of Service can authorize full refunds for cancellation after the registration deadline.
