The 2013 Northeast Reunion will be held at Camp Wheeler on the Allamuchy Scout Reservation in Stanhope, NJ. Camp Wheeler has been reserved just for us!! Your PSA Hosts are: Dave Setzer, Rick Touchette and Kathy Seitz and the Patriots Path Council Staff and Watchu Staff.

Arrival/Departure
Staff will be available to welcome you from 5pm-8pm Friday, October 11 and again on Saturday October 12 beginning at 6:30am. The weekend program will end following breakfast on Sunday. Please join us for any portion of the weekend.

Housing/Showers/Restrooms
Tent camping will be in a Philmont like trail camp – fire ring, bear bag cables, sump. Please bring your own gear!! However, you will not need cooking gear or sump equipment. But, we do have lots of bears! If you have smellables it is best to hang them. We will supply bear bags or secure storage. We will have bunkhouses available for individuals – one for men and one for women. There will be bunk bed cots available. Additionally, there are hotel/B&B options within approx. 15 minute drive to camp. Location information has been provided on the registration form. Showers and restrooms are available at Camp. Power is available in some buildings. The Watchu Mountain Outfitters Trading Post will be open all weekend. They have Bill Cass signed books!!

Food/Menu
The Watchu Staff will be on site to cook for us this weekend. We promise you will not be disappointed! We will do our best to accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian diets. We cannot offer a complete menu but will do our best to provide supplemental or alternate items. Please bring supplements if you feel you need to.

Activities
There are an assortment of activities in both the morning and afternoon on Saturday for the whole family. Please review the list on the registration form and mark what you would like to participate in so we can plan staff and facilities appropriately. We will provide a more detailed schedule when you arrive. The expected schedule for Saturday night is:

  • 6:30pm PSA Celebration/Reunion/Fellowship Dinner
  • 7:30pm Multi-Media Show
  • 8:00pm Campfire at 8:00pm (opportunity for all to join in with PSA/Philmont/Scouting/stories) and the latest news from Philmont
  • Ending at approximately 9:30pm

Fees
We have reserved the camp and are providing great food. To help defray the costs, we are charging for various pieces of this event. To encourage families to participate, we will not charge for children 10 and under. Registration Form Registration and payment is due no later than September 27th. Your cooperation is appreciated so we can deliver the best program for the weekend.
