When you give to The PSA it goes directly to supporting Philmont Seasonal and Full-Time Staffers. Whether you are funding a scholarship or helping fund new buildings and furniture for the ranch you will feel good about supporting the PSA in their efforts to give back to Philmont in any department they see fit.
The Annual Fund was started in 1999 to give our members an avenue to provide direct financial support to the Philmont Staff Association and its mission. Our support of Philmont, seasonal staff, and the wilderness adventure depends on the success of our Annual Fund.
The PSA has provided Scholarships since its founding on 1973. From the beginning, the PSA raised funds to provide scholarship for trek participants and over the years we have expanded to include other individual treks and staff scholastic scholarships. Help fund more scholarships by donating or purchasing PSA merch!
The PSA created the Staff Amigos program to support seasonal and full time Philmont staff. Through the years, staff have received letters and care packages to let them know that they are supported in their efforts. Some years, almost every staffer has had an amigo. Help us get a package to each camp/department this year!
At each PSA reunion, we hold a Silent Auction to raise money in support of the annual campaign. Each year we get to send you home with some wonderful mementos of your time spent at Philmont. We are asking each PSA reunion participant to bring something for the auction.
