Celebrating Coralie’s birthday in 2018…
Any gift to the Coralie Graham Memorial Staff Scholarship Endowment given by December 31, 2018 will be matched by her Dad up to a total of $5,000 in celebration of Coralie’s December 12 birthday.
Coralie loved Philmont. Philmont was the catalyst that transformed Coralie from an East Coast suburban girl to a Western mountain woman. She encouraged others to become Philmont staffers, including her brother Jimmy.
Upon Coralie’s untimely death in a cayoneering accident, her family decided to honor Coralie’s passion for Philmont by establishing a PSA endowed scholarship in Coralie’s name so others could afford the Philmont experience. To date we have raised $36,00 toward our goal of $50,000. Please help us honor Coralie by making a donation.
The purpose of this scholarship endowment is to honor Coralie’s memory and her love for adventure, the outdoors, and helping others.
Philmont is owned and operated by the Boy Scouts of America and is the largest youth camp in the world. Set in the beautiful Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico, Philmont provides the opportunity every summer for tens of thousands of Scouts to have a wilderness experience that lasts a lifetime. Coralie worked for Philmont for ten seasons—it was a place she adored, where she cultivated a love for the outdoors and built an incredible network of friends.
This scholarship will go to a Philmont staff member making a positive impact at Philmont. It will be awarded to a Philmont seasonal staff member toward an educational institution in which the staff member is enrolled.
