After such an inspiring Women Ranger reunion this summer, are you ready to “Reach For New Heights” in nurturing a strong female presence at Philmont? Through the Rayado program, Philmont has so much to offer our youth, especially our young women needing a firm anchor and an opportunity to discover a more confident, more adventurous self. As of this year Philmont has a fully endowed scholarship focused on bringing more young women to experience Philmont through the Rayado program, with our first scholarships to be offered next summer. If you bought a reunion t-shirt, you have supported this scholarship program. If you bought the Women Rangers “Stories From The Trail,” you have lent support. A huge thanks to all of you who have done so. We have made tremendous strides in building up our scholarship fund. Our current goal is to reach a funding level of $25,000 to guarantee TWO summer scholarships per year in perpetuity. We are so close, needing a little more than $7,200.
We ask you to make a contribution to our scholarship during our Giving Campaign, using one of these methods:
Via FACEBOOK on Dec 6th during the six Power Hour campaign matching opportunities or pledge by email to [email protected]
MAIL a check for your donation to the PSA, 17 Deer Run Road, Cimarron NM 87714 at ANY TIME before Dec 6th, with notation “RW Scholarship Fund”.
CALL the PSA Office at 575-376-1138 at ANY TIME on or before Dec 6th. Let them know you are contributing to the RW Scholarship Fund.
